Offslaught '81
This is my entry into the tigsource Retro Demakes competition. http://forums.tigsource.com/index.php?topic=2376.0
The idea is that it is a tower defense game as if it had been written for a ZX-81.
Download
windows executable | Here's a windows executable. Unzip and run offslaught.exe. |
Offslaught '81 source code | Here is the Python source-code to download. I don't have a Mac or Linux machine to make Mac and Linux executables with, but you can run Offslaught.py in the source code if you have Python and Pygame on your computer. I've had 1 month to write this and I'm learning Python as I go so it's not very well commented or laid out but I don't have plans to maintain it |

hello, in linux filenames is case-sensitive, so "Images/0.gif" is not equal "images/0.gif".
And in zip with source code catalog name is Images, when in code it is reffered as images.
So modify it one way or another (I've just renamed catalog to "images" and everything works). Case of filenames may be modified by archiver you use, I know that 7zip doesn't mess with it, and old winrar did.
So check it, if you can :)
Anyway, great game, thank you for releasing.
